So, I think we can all agree that yesterday was a damn good day in hockey (at least for those hockey fans I associate with, sorry for you Columbus fans…do Columbus fans even exist?)

@Brock that Blackhawks win, doe! That was a fucking great game. Literally one of the better playoff games I’ve seen, this St. Louis v. Chicago match-up is just BEAUTIFUL! And CRAWWWFORRRRD WAS BEAST! I don’t know how the hell he made some of the saves he did, but kudos to him. They better continue this ish. Now…enough about their good game because I hate the Hawks.

@HammerTime I was NOT expecting that game to go into overtime! I didn’t watch much of it but it was a damn good effort by the Wild, and sending what…46? shots at the net. Varlamov is fucking beast, your team just needs to keep sending that many pucks towards him and hope to beat him like they did last night. And keep the Avalanche from getting near their net, I think they allowed only 19 shots on goal…I hope they beat the Avs. I pray to the hockey gods that they do.

@MrXercules has to be fucking ecstatic. And I’m pretty freaking happy for you, even though I picked Anaheim over Dallas. Lehtonen with a shutout over the Ducks! That’s gotta be a huge confidence booster to him, was a good day for the Stars. But that Robidas injury…ouch.

Anyone watch that Pittsburgh v. Columbus game??? Was pretty amazing. Penguins had way more SOG, with like 21 against 10 late the 1st period. Jackets eventually went up 3-1 after a 2-0 lead in the first. Then Pittsburgh rallies back in the 3rd period and scored 3 goals on 3 shots in 2:10ish. I’m a happy camper. I’d be a happier camper if Detroit destroys Boston tonight.

Ohh one more thing @Brock Hjalmarsson needs to get away from the front of the net, one of these days he’s going to block a shot and it’s not going to be a simple “I’ll take a 2 min rest on the bench.”

I’m definitely a happy camper. My team senses blood in the water, time to finish the job in Los Angeles.

As for yesterday’s results, I hope Chicago can keep it up because I despise St. Louis, mainly because their success pushed the Sharks out of higher seeds, we swept our season series with them but the home rink advantage would have been nice.

@SpicVanDyke I honestly was not expecting the Sharks to dominate that strongly and am quite upset because I picked the Kings over the Sharks. Clearly a shit move on my part, but congrats to your team.

Honestly I would have been on your side if I was not a Sharks fan because not only do the Kings match up well with our team but the Sharks aren’t the best when it comes to the postseason. But our mix of rookies and veteran players have been really showing up, assisting each other beautifully.

Biggest surprise is the less than stellar play from Johnathan Quick. He pretty much dominated us in the semi finals last year, making awesome saves. The Game 2 win, we had 40 SOG to the Kings 26 which is really huge. Regardless, the Kings can come back especially since they are at home now. Just need to steal a game in San Jose.

@Brock Not even OT, the shootout. I dread shootouts. I probably don’t breathe during the entire thing until it’s over. I remember one of the Wings games went to like a 10 round shootout or some ish. Was a bad night for me haha. But I think they won, can’t remember. Congrats to your Hawks!
