The March Violets are a gothic rock band formed on 1981 in Leeds, UK. They were one of the leading “drum machine bands” from Leeds, alongside The Sisters of Mercy, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, and The Three Johns, and they also incorporated both male and female vocalists into their songs.
