About Pitbull

Pitbull (born January 15, 1981) is a Cuban-American rapper and MC, born and raised in Miami, Florida. Nowadays, he’s left his MC abilities and centered his career on the pop and mainstream industries.

In 2001, Pitbull, also known to fans as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide, signed with Uncle Luke’s Records. There, he started his career as an MC, throwing out a trilogy of mixtapes under the name Unleashed. Through Uncle Luke, he came to know other people in the movement such as Lil Jon and the Diaz Brothers.

In 2004, he released his debut LP, M.I.A.M.I. with the lead single “Culo,” produced by Lil Jon and the Diaz Brothers. It arguably would become a club banger. However, Jamaican artist Mr. Vegas accused Pitbull of copying his 2004 track titled “Pull Up.” This would lead to a beef, to which Pîtbull responds with “Mr. Vegas Diss.”
