In August 2007, the US State Department sent two investigators to Iraq to conduct a monthlong review of Blackwater. Their findings showed:

  • [Blackwater was] “overbilling the State Department by manipulating its personnel records, using guards assigned to the State Department contract for other work and falsifying other staffing data on the contract.”
  • [Blackwater contractors] were “storing automatic weapons and ammunition in their private rooms, where they also were drinking heavily and partying.”

However, she has been performing it this way since she started performing the song in 2009.

President Ronald Reagan gave this speech to the people of West Berlin; “tear down this wall” became one of the most memorable lines of his presidency.

The Berlin Wall was built by Communists in August 1961 to keep Germans from escaping East Berlin into West Berlin. The twelve-foot concrete wall extended for a hundred miles and included electrified fences and guard posts.

Mateen has since been suspended from Tinder. IAC, the dating app’s parent company released a statement:

Immediately upon receipt of the allegations contained in Ms. Wolfe’s complaint, Mr. Mateen was suspended pending an ongoing internal investigation. Through that process, it has become clear that Mr. Mateen sent private messages to Ms. Wolfe containing inappropriate content. We unequivocally condemn these messages, but believe that Ms. Wolfe’s allegations with respect to Tinder and its management are unfounded.
