i knew it! blue bottle is terrible. let me opine about how great sbux is for a second. sbux’s ceo howard schultz’s mom worked as a receptionist and his father held a variety of jobs, none of which offered basic benefits. when schultz was 7, his father lost his job as a diaper-service delivery driver after breaking his ankle; because he did not have insurance and did not receive sick pay, the family was literally too poor to put food on the table. bc of this experience, schultz mandated that sbux offer health benefits to part-time workers (called “partners”).
