what % of blackberry’s marketing budget do you think was spent on making this happen?
I imagine the Brain Trust at Starbucks HQ tried to "Brooklynize" this particular location with an open, minimalist, and warehouse-y vibe complete with polished concrete floors, exposed wooden beams, and a communal sink in between two bathrooms because that's apparently how people in Williamsburg like to wash their hands according to a bunch of suits in Seattle. The space is actually quite visually appealing and it looks nothing like any other franchise I've stepped foot in previously.

yassssss love it, sbux spends a lot of time crafting general store interior guidelines, but then puts in a huge amount of effort to customize each major location. look at this repurposed sbux in amsterdam:
there should be no question that you are in a sbux BUT it should also seamlessly fit into the neighborhood / feel like a unique location that becomes “yours.” sbux tries really hard to be your “third home.” you have work, home, and BLANK – sbux wants to be that BLANK.
