TFLN readers are some of the most cynical, condescending dicks in the world and I love them for that.

I don’t always believe anecdotes like this one. But in this case if there’s a chance it’s true, we gotta post it. This person is already having a bad day, so we should put their text up, let them laugh about it with friends.

The one-liners on the site amaze me the most. At first, I thought TFLN was going to be a gossip-y, inside joke-y place between friends or a small community of people who were loosely associated in real life. Then people started being HILARIOUS. And it blew up.
