Sam was the youngest member of the Great Britain men’s bronze medal-winning team at the 2012 Olympics, despite breaking his collarbone in 2011 and facing a training setback when he should have been peaking! The last time the GB men won a team medal in gymnastics had been 1912, thus ending a 100 year drought. Only 9 years before making the London podium, they came in 23rd place at World Championships!
