The bridge references the biblical character Job, who was forced to endure many hardships as a test of his faith to God.
Through all of the difficulties he has to deal with in his life, the singer will remain calm and collected.
I think that the lyrics are being cynical and facetious at the same time. As in, he is self aware that he isn’t capable of keeping his “cool like old Job”.

I think Billy says all my cool ain’t cold not and cold. In this new edited context, your spot on assessment is right. Job was cold Billy is only cool. All my cool ain’t cold like old job

I don’t think this is a matter of Billy “getting the lyric wrong,” that is quite impossible as he is the writer. But we may have interpreted it wrong. Just as Job, Corgan loses it. Just listen to the chorus, or even better yet, the bridge. He is not calm and collected there. He’s going nuts as the gods have been testing him and draining his spirit.

In Job chapter 31 Job questions God’s justice, in Job 38, God interrogates Job and asks him “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding.” Job’s response in chapter 40 is “Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.”
So I think Billy Corgin got the lyric wrong, or only half right because Job doesn’t remain cool, he loses it. And he doesn’t remain cold, he is humbled by God yet continues to worship him.
