Pyramid (stylized as Pyr△mid) is the third album by The Alan Parsons Project. It is the third concept album after themes on Edgar Allen Poe and Isaac Asimov. This album centred on the pyramids of Giza, at the time the album was conceived, interest in pyramid power and Tutankhamun was widespread.
And Woolfson & Parsons made an example for others (e.g. Mike Oldfield), writing the songs and assuring the best suited artists to interpret them.
(As opposed to e.g. Meat Loaf ✝︎ (great one, rest in peace), who chose and interpreted the songs that had been written for him.)
