About “Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes”

Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes is the debut remix album by Rihanna and was released on January 27, 2009. Its made-up of electronic dance remixes of tracks from her 2007 album Good Girl Gone Bad and it’s 2008 re-release, Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. All but three tracks—“Lemme Get That,” “Rehab,” and “Sell Me Candy”—were remixed for the album.

While the original album’s bonus disc includes the full-length remixes, Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes only include radio edits—which received mixed reviews from critics.

The album debuted at #106 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Despite its low numbers, Good Girl Gone Bad: The Remixes was ranked as the 22nd best-selling album of 2009 on the latter chart.
