Music Is The Weapon

Music Is the Weapon, originally titled Lazerism, is the fourth album by electronic super-group Major Lazer. The group first announced the title in 2016, but the full project has been delayed many times for various reasons. In 2018, Diplo said in an interview with Complex that the project would come out in 2019, and that it would likely be the last one under the “Major Lazer” moniker. In a 2019 interview, Diplo said that the album would now be called Lazerism, and would feature new songs with Major Lazer’s updated line-up.

After multiples pushbacks, the trio finally announced the album on September 30, 2020.
