Super Fly

Super Fly is the original motion picture soundtrack for the classic 1972 Blaxploitation film of the same name. It is Curtis Mayfield’s third studio album and his most critically acclaimed work, considered by many to be a masterpiece.

Mayfield wrote, composed, and produced all nine songs on the tracklist. He performed guitar and vocals on seven tracks, shooting to #4 and #8 on the Billboard Pop Charts with “Freddie’s Dead” and the title track, respectively.
