Orphans

Orphans is an EP released under the Aphex Twin alias, AFX.
The EP was first released to Aphex’s website as a digital download and later had a special release on 12" vinyl. It was only available after Aphex’s set at Red Bull’s London Music Festival on September 14th, 2019.

Two of the songs featured on the EP are from Aphex’s 2015 SoundCloud dumps. The first track, Spiral Staicase [Future Music Competition, AFX Remix], was part of a January 2015 dump on the account “user48736353001” (all tracks have since been deleted from the account).

Nightmail 1 was part of the second leak in the same month, this time on the account user18081971, of which some tracks have been taken down.

All tracks from the dump have been archived on the Internet Archive.
