About “Hangable Auto Bulb”

Hangable Auto Bulb is a two-part EP by British electronic musician, Richard D. James under the AFX alias. The album was released on October 3rd 2005 and featured all tracks from the two releases in 1995.

The first EP featured tracks 1-6, whist Part 2 featured the final two, Every Day and Arched Maid Via RDJ.

Multiple tracks on the album are anagrams, such as Custodian Discount being an incomplete anagram of Caustic Window, one of Richard’s other aliases. Another niche with the album is it’s sampling of the 1961 BBC documentary, Children Talking. The documentary is sampled in Children Talking and Every Day.
