So Help Me God! is 2 Chainz’s sixth studio album, released on November 13, 2020, after a delay due to the clearances of samples used. It follows his March 2019 album, Rap or Go to the League, and his February 2020 collaborative project with T.R.U., No Face No Case.
2 Chainz released the album’s lead single, “Money Maker,” featuring Lil Wayne, on August 7, 2020. On the same day, he announced the album’s title on an interview with The Breakfast Club. He then released the second and final single, “Quarantine Thick,” featuring Mulatto.
On November 9, 2020, 2 Chainz revealed the album’s cover art and new release date, which was designed by him in 8th grade. Two days later, on November 11, he announced the track list, leaving fans to guess the featured artists.
