We have our own opinions. Each of us has deeply held beliefs. And when we go through tough times, when we make big decisions as a country, it necessarily stirs passions, stirs up controversy.
An important message here to those supporters of Romney: you might be feeling emotional at this time, but remember that those emotions are the calling card of democracy; the very fact that they are felt means that democracy has been exercised and that people feel their voice matters.
That’s what is greatabout America. We can have opinions and make different decisions on them, but we don’t have to have them not be said. That’s the whole point of why we are a free country.
